BDS (Birmingham, 1998)

Dr. Lauren Bowen graduated from the University of Birmingham in 1998 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. A Pembrokeshire girl at heart, Lauren returned home after qualifying and gained valuable experience working in practices across Pembrokeshire before purchasing Dew Street Dental Practice in January 2009 — and she hasn't looked back since.

With over 25 years of experience, Lauren is dedicated to providing gentle, patient-centred care and practises dentistry with a holistic approach, considering the overall wellbeing of each patient. She has a special interest in root canal therapy (endodontics), orthodontics, and cosmetic dentistry, and is passionate about helping patients — especially young children — build confidence and feel comfortable in the dental chair.

Outside of dentistry, Lauren loves horses and the coast. She is also a Level 3 qualified massage therapist, trained in Reiki and functional facial therapy, which complement her holistic philosophy. Lauren is a proud mum of two boys, who keep her busy and inspired.
